About Exam :-
Central Industrial Security Force is conducting the exam for the post of Head Constable (Ministerial). Many candidates applied for the examination of Head Constable (Ministerial). CISF Head Constable (Ministerial) Exam Will be Held on Upcoming Date. The exam date will be announced soon.

There will be three stages of recruitment before the medical examination as follows:-
(1) PST and Documentation.
(2) OMR or computer based written test which shall be bilingual i.e. English and Hindi.
(3) Skill Test (Typewriting Test)
Height Bar Test (HBT)
Candidates found qualified in Height Bar Test will be put through PST.
About Physical Standard Test:-

Scrutiny of original testimonials/documents of candidates who qualify in PST will be done. Candidates who fail to produce the requisite original certificates/certificates will be debarred from the recruitment process by the Presiding Officer by giving the rejection slip giving reasons and no candidate will be allowed provisionally.

About CISF Head Constable (Ministerial) Exam Pattern ,
The exam pattern for CISF Head Constable (Ministerial) written exam is as follows:
- (i) The written test will be either OMR/Computer Based Test,
- (ii) Objective type question paper to be answered on OMR sheet 100 marks Of 02 hours with duration 100 questions on General Intelligence, General Knowledge, Arithmetic, and General English or Hindi.
- (iii) Questions will be set bilingual in English/Hindi
- (iv) The minimum percentage of marks to qualify for the next stage shall be as under:-
- General/ESM : 35%
- SC/ST/OBC: 33%
note:-Qualifying marks of 35% for General/ESM and 33% for SC/ST/OBC does not mean that all candidates who have scored 35% and 33% as the case may be, will be called for the next stage. Candidates will be called for the next stage purely on the basis of their performance / marks obtained in the written test and cut off marks (category wise) which will be decided after the completion of the written test.

CISF Head Constable Ministerial Syllabus 2019 will be as follows:
Common sense : Analytical aptitude and ability to spot and distinguish patterns will be tested mainly through non-verbal type questions. This component may include questions on Similarities, Similarities and Differences, Spatial Visualization, Spatial Orientation, Visual Memory, Discrimination, Observation, Relationship Concepts, Arithmetic Reasoning and Figurative Classification, Arithmetic Number Series, Non-Verbal Series, Coding and Decoding etc. .
Common Sense : The questions in this component will be aimed at testing the general awareness of the candidates about the environment around them. The questions will also be designed to test the knowledge of current events and such matters of everyday observation and experience in their scientific aspect as may be expected of any educated person. The test will also include questions related to India and its neighboring countries, especially questions related to sports, history, culture, geography, economic scene, general polity, Indian constitution, scientific research etc.
General English or Hindi: Candidates’ ability to understand correct English, their basic comprehension and writing ability etc. will be tested. Questions will be asked from error recognition, filling in the blanks (using verbs, prepositions, articles etc.), vocabulary, spelling, grammar, sentence structure, synonyms, antonyms, sentence completion, phrases and idiomatic use of words, etc.
Arithmetic : This question paper will include questions related to Number System, Calculation of Whole Numbers, Decimals and Fractions and Relationship between Numbers, Fundamental Arithmetic Operations, Percentages, Ratios and Proportions, Average, Interest, Profit and Loss, Discount, Mensuration, Time and Distance Will be , Ratio and Time, Time and Work, etc.
About Skill Test Norms on Computer :-
English Typing with minimum speed of 35 w.p.m. on Computer OR Hindi Typing (time permitting -10m) with minimum speed of 30 w.p.m. on Computer (35 wpm in English and 10500 KDPH in English corresponding to 30 Words per minute in Hindi / 9000 KDPH in Hindi with average 5 key depressions for each word on computer).
