He said that the move would promote healthy competition among the schools and help in crafting innovative initiatives. “The spirit of patriotism and devotion to nature should be inculcated in the children to build their character and benefit the country.”Minister Singh informed that the Union Cabinet in October had approved the affiliation of 100 schools in the private and government sectors starting from the academic year 2022-23, according to which Sainik Schools will come under the Ministry of Defence. “Quality education is listed at number four among the 17 Sustainable Development Goals adopted by the United Nations. There are many other goals that need to be achieved for quality education, which we have a strong political commitment to achieve,” said the minister.

In conclusion, Singh underlined the need for revolution in education and holistic development of children. After this, he said that the needy can be achieved only with strong cooperation in defence, education and private sector.
