Government of India extends ‘Stand Up India Scheme’ till 2025

Indian government extended the period ‘Stand Up India Scheme’ by year 2025. The scheme to facilitate credit was launched by the Prime Minister on 05th April 2016 SC, ST and women borrowers, To promote entrepreneurship among them.

About the plan:

  • This scheme provides bank loan Women and SC and ST communities To encourage them to set up a greenfield enterprise outside the agricultural sector, that is, in the manufacturing, services or trade sector.
  • Total loan amount of 1,16,266 Rupee. 26204.49 crore The scheme has been extended since its inception. Loans are given by Scheduled Commercial Banks (SCBs) under Stand Up India Scheme: Rupee. 10 lakh and Rs 1 crore.
