About HP University Peon Recruitment:

Himachal Pradesh University (HPU) has recently announced about the recruitment of 228 posts For Peon, Office Attendant and various other posts of Category B, C and D. Many candidates filled their application form. The application submission process is conducted online. Application form submission process has started from date 05.06.2020 and conducted till date 26.06.2020 (up to 11:59 PM). Candidates can check the details of the recruitment form on the link given below.

About Exam:

Many interested and eligible candidates filled there application form and now they are waiting for their examination. Soon the exam will be conducted on the date. First written test will be conducted.

Nowadays the level of competition has become very high so competitive exams become very difficult. Aspirants facing the serious problem of “what to prepare” and “how to prepare” to give their best in their exam. So, here we are providing the latest syllabus and exam pattern.

Selection Process:

Number 1 to 3 Category ‘B’

  • The selection process for the post Category ‘B’ mentioned at serial no. 1 to 3 will be the same as prescribed by the UGC vide Regulations 2018 adopted by the University vide Notification No. 3-5/78 HPU (Gen.) Vol. VIII dated 19-01-2019 and 21-11-2019.

Numbers 4 to 9 Category ‘B’

  • Objective Type Written Test in General Knowledge
  • Subject Aptitude Test (SAT) in the relevant field and as per post requirement
  • Interview/Personality Test

Category ‘C’ at serial number 10 to 23

  • written objective type test
  • Typing / Skill Test
  • evaluation of documents

Numbers 4 to 9 Category ‘B’

Written exam

Exam Pattern: The exam pattern will be as follows:

  • The exam will be of objective type.
  • The exam will be of 40 marks/ questions.
  • written test will be two and a half hours Duration.

pay attention: The qualifying written test of the candidate will be called for interview/personality test in the ratio of 1:6+3 for each additional post.

Exam Syllabus : The exam syllabus will be as follows:

Common Sense : GK of Himachal Pradesh, India and International GK, the division of marks will be 20,10,10 respectively)

Subject Aptitude Test (SAT)

  • Subject Aptitude Test (SAT) will be of 100 Marks/Questions

Personality Test / Interview

  • Personality test/interview will be of 60 marks.

Category ‘C’ at serial number 10 to 23

Written exam

Exam Pattern: The exam pattern will be as follows:

  • The exam will be of objective type.
  • Objective type screening test consisting of 85 multiple choice questions of 85 marks (each question will be of 1 mark).
  • written test will be one and a half hour Duration.

(The percentage of marks obtained in the educational qualification will be multiplied by 0.025, for example, a person who has secured 50% marks in the required educational qualification will be allowed 1.25 marks (50 X0.025 = 1.25). 2.5 (two and a half)
Second Relating to notified backward area or Panchayat, as the case may be. 1 one)
third The landless household/ household having less than 1 hectare of land has to be certified by the concerned revenue authority. 1 one)
IV Non-employment certificate to the effect that none of the family members are in Govt./Semi Govt. 1 one)
V Disabled persons with more than 40% disability/disability/infirmity. 1 one)
Sixth NSS (at least one year) certificate holder in NCC / Bharat Scouts and Guides. Medal winner in national level sports competitions. 1 one)
seventh BPL families whose family annual income (from all sources) is less than Rs. 40,000/- or as prescribed by the Govt. From time to time. 2 (two)
eighth Widow/Divorced/Desperate/Lonely woman. 1 one)
ninth Single daughter/orphan. 1 one)
x Training of at least 6 months duration in the relevant post applied for from a recognized University/Institute. 1 one)
eleventh Maximum 5 years experience in Govt./Semi-Govt. Organization related to the post applied for (0.5 marks only for each completed year). 2.5 (two and a half)

pay attention: Examination for the post(s) mentioned in Sr. No. 10, 11, 12, 14 and 15 will be of graduation level for the post(s) mentioned in the serial no. No. 16 to 20 will be of 10+2 standard and for the post mentioned in sr. No. 21 to 23 10 . will be ofth standard.

The scheme of examination for the post of JOA (IT) at serial number 13 will be as follows:

pay attention: The exam will be of 10+2 standards.

pay attention: Applicants will be declared qualified in the written Objective Type Screening Test (MCQ) in the ratio of 20 times the total number of posts (category wise) and will be called for Typing/Skill Test wherever required and thereafter typing / Skill Test, such qualified candidates will be called for evaluation of documents in the ratio of 1:3. The final selection will be based on the parameters prepared by the Department of Personnel, Govt. HP vide notification no. copy (ap.b)b(15)-5/2014 dated 17th April, 2017.

pay attention: Candidates shortlisted on the basis of merit will be called for evaluation of documents in the ratio of 1:3. The final selection will be based on the criteria laid down by the Department of Personnel, Govt. Himachal Pradesh vide Notification No. Copy (AP.B)B(15)-5/2014 dated 17th April, 2017.
