We believe this is an optimistic omen for our final placement season.”
Among the highlights was the participation of front-end investment banking and private equity firms, venture capitalists and top consulting firms.
The placement drive saw a total of 146 offers from recruiters including Accenture Strategy, Amazon, Asian Paints, Bain & Company, Boston Consulting Group, Citibank, Deloitte USI, Flipkart, Goldman Sachs, Google, JPMorgan Chase, Microsoft, PwC and TAS. About 21% of the batch.
Sales and marketing contributed 25% of offers on campus, while 22% of the student cohort were offered internships in the consulting domain. Internships were offered to an equally large segment in the banking, financial services and insurance domains by employers including Axis Bank, Citibank, Credit Suisse, DE Shaw, Deutsche Bank, Edelweiss Tokio, Goldman Sachs and JPMorgan Chase.
Students in the IT and Analytics domain received offers from American Express, Amazon, Google, Microsoft, MX Player, Walmart Labs and in-house divisions of companies like Asian Paints, DRL and HUL.
The operations domain saw new recruiters like Amazon, Asian Paints, Flipkart and Uber as well as new recruiters like Myntra.
Leading groups and business houses including AbInBev, Capgemini, Coca Cola, Mahindra, Reliance, RPG Group and TAS provided leadership development and general management roles to 12% of the students.
