REET Exam Pattern for Class 01 to 05 and Class 06 to 08 will be as follows:

Level 1 (Class 1-5) ,

  • Maximum Marks: 150 Marks
  • Time Duration: 02:30 Hours
  • Language – Hindi and English

Level and Nature of Examination:

  1. Child Development and Teaching Methods Question paper related to the level of reading of children from the age of 06 to 11 years, educational psychology, various mental levels of the students, their need, their interaction with them and the quality and characteristics of a good teacher etc. Questions to test understanding will be asked

  • REIT-2021 According to the provision made by the National Council of Teacher Education’s notification dated 13th November, 2019 in Level-2, “Graduation or Post Graduation with at least 50% marks and B.Ed.” Candidates having post graduate qualification are given a chance to join. That is, the candidates who have less than 50 percent marks in graduation but have 50 percent or more marks in post-graduation. They will be eligible to apply in REET-2021.
  • REET-2017 In the SC/ST/OBC/Special Persons/Widows/Divorced Women candidates only, there was a relaxation of 5% in the qualifying marks of the prescribed educational qualification (senior secondary or graduation). In REET-2021, candidates belonging to the Most Backward Classes (MBC) and Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) have also been given a relaxation of 5 percent in the qualifying marks of the prescribed educational qualification (senior secondary or graduation).
  • The candidates of subjects like commerce were kept out of REET till now. This subject has been included in Social Studies Level-2 by amending it.
