Voice AI company Schitt is set to hire 1000 people across the US,

Voice AI company Skit plans to hire 1000 employees in the coming year, the highest ever, in diverse roles and skill-sets for strategic business and technological expansion.
The company is gearing up to meet the growing demand for executing projects as it develops its team to cater to global enterprise customers and resolve contact center queries for a broader demographic. Currently, it is recruiting for positions including key senior appointments in product, engineering, revenue, marketing, board appointments, human resources and development teams. Additionally, Schitt plans to take on the role of CXO for Product, Marketing and Distribution to further strengthen its leadership level. It is targeting aggressive recruitment in three primary markets including the Americas, Southeast Asia and India.

After recently raising a Series B round of $23 million, the firm has resolved to further strengthen its voice solutions in current as well as more mature and receptive markets such as the United States.

“With an aim to grow the company by 10x in the coming year, our priority is to first grow our sales, distribution and technical teams that will be at the forefront of Skit’s explosive growth trajectory. We are currently investing in skilled and talented individuals. These are the ones that will drive this breakthrough and innovate to create an ecosystem of natural human and machine interactions, creating a world where voice interfaces are primary,” said Saurabh Gupta, co-founder and CEO of Skit.
In the US and Southeast Asian markets, the company will focus on meeting specific requirements for high-quality data annotation as well as strengthening sales and marketing roles. However, the majority of hiring will take place in India, including both technical and business aspects, for lateral and fresh candidates in Product, Marketing, Sales, Machine Learning, Engineering, Delivery, Data Annotation, HR/Recruitment and CXO roles.

As of September 2021, the company’s total fundraising is $30 million. The global contact center market is expected to grow steadily in size and reach a value of $496 billion by 2027.
